Alpha K9 Search and Recovery is an all-volunteer non-profit (501c3) search team based in Bucks County but available to assist in searching for the missing in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Every year countless families face the unimaginable heartbreak of a missing loved one. In these moments of crisis Alpha K9 Search and Recovery stands ready to assist law enforcement with the search. We have skilled handlers, highly trained K9’s and a commitment to bring people home. We do not do this for recognition, but because we believe that every life matters and every family deserves answers.

We rely entirely on donations from supporters like you to help cover our expenses which include:

Training and Certifications- We train weekly and certify through independent outside organizations.
Specialized equipment and gear for the handlers and the K9’s.
Outside specialized seminars.
Community education programs.

Your tax-deductible monetary donations or item/items that we could use in a raffle to raise funds will help us to continue to provide these services. Some examples of how donations will be allocated include:

Educational materials & safety promotional materials such as small flashlights, whistles and safety blankets - approximate cost $500/yr.
Mapping software such as CalTopo to plan and document searches and Active 911 dispatch system - approximately $850/yr.
Liability Insurance- for training locations and searches - approximately $1000/yr.
Color multi-functional printer to print search paperwork - approximately $350
Medical equipment for immediate treatment (if needed) of the missing persons, such as an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) - approximately $1500
Uniforms- shirts, all weather jackets.
